Travel Accident Insurance
A travel accident insurance plan provides coverage for injuries or death that occur due to an accident while traveling internationally. There are several types of coverage that are generally available:
- Accidental Death - This benefit only pays if the insured dies due to a qualified accident.
- Accidental Death & Dismemberment - Pays full benefit upon death and also partial benefits if there is a covered loss of a body part.
- Accidental Death & Dismemberment + Sudden Cardiac Arrest - Offers AD&D coverage explained above plus coverage for sudden cardiac arrest.
